Waiting for Portia's Arrival

Portia came to us via the amazing artistry of GothicLibrarian.
All of Miss G's Bs were on pins and needles waiting for her to arrive. They had looked at her photo for years, in a tiny frame on Miss Gretchen's desk, as the epitome of custom mohair yumminess. For days, Maru Deux waited down at the mailbox.
It had turned beastly cold, but thank goodness that she had a toasty warm hat and scarf knitted by Blythou de Paris. Due to the Blythe-Mind-Meld with Maru, she remembered the visit in Paris with Blythou very fondly.
She tried to be patient while waiting for the postman's arrival. . .
. . .but all that came were bills, bills, bills, as well as a tiny green visitor!
Waiting is easier, when a friend is around.
