New York City to see the band of Pirates play an historic gig at the famed Knitting
Factory
The pirate was still in San Francisco on the birthday, so the champers had to be opened pop top style

The band had been in San Francisco for three weeks, and was arriving at the Knitting Factory directly from the airport, just before sound check. Where is everyone?
When we got to the dressing room, our eyes got as big as saucers when we saw who was featured on the walls!
Well, Blythe wasn't the only decoration in the room. . .(Gwenvyrdon got a bit "shook up!")
Gwenvyrdon brought her electric guitar, but since she forgot her amp she wasn't sure if she would be able to be heard over that huge trumpet. . .
We were glad to get some snaps of the band during soundcheck, as during the sold out concert there was no way to take photos over the crowd!
